Hello, I’m Kirsty Dobson, wife and mother and the face behind Nourish Brighton. I am a State Registered Dietitian and Foundational Practitioner of Reconnective Healing® based in Brighton, UK. Dietetics is my passion. Having over 15 years of clinical experience, largely within the NHS, I offer advanced-level knowledge of a broad variety of disciplines including digestive diseases, malnutrition, nutritional deficiencies, food intolerances, neurological conditions, diabetes and weight management.
I pride myself on providing client-centered, evidence-based, high quality nutritional care. I believe that medicine gets it wrong when we separate the mind from the body and only treat the physical symptoms. When counselling a client I consider the whole person and take into consideration their food beliefs, social situation, exercise level, spiritual needs, home life, stressors and any currently perceived food triggers or previously trailed dietary exclusions.
I have always considered myself open to new experiences and came across Reconnective Healing® (RH) when I was grief-stricken and living overseas with limited ‘traditional’ therapy options available to me. The enormous feeling of calm and peace that I felt in the days following the session I credit with giving me the courage to change my job and make the physical move back to be with my family and friends. Having read the book by Dr Eric Pearl I began to experience these RH frequencies for myself and felt compelled to pursue a qualification to enable me to offer my clients a truly holistic personalised approach to their health and healing.
